House Sales Statistics in Turkey for 2024

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) has published its report on real estate sales statistics for 2024. A Total of 1,478,025 Properties Sold in Turkey in 2024 In 2024, 1,478,025 residential properties were sold in Turkey, reflecting a 20.6% increase compared to 2023. Istanbul recorded the highest number of sales with 239,213 properties. Ankara and Izmir followed with 134,046 and 80,398 sales, respectively. The lowest sales figures were reported in Ardahan, Hakkari, and Bayburt.

Istanbul led the sales with 198,739 properties, accounting for 16.2% of the total sales, followed by Ankara and Izmir with 114,432 and 65,465 sales respectively. The lowest sales were recorded in Ardahan, Hakkari, and Tunceli.
